FLU CLINIC 2024/2025

In accordance with the latest NHS guidance we will be administering FLU vaccinations for all adults aged 65 years and over and those aged 18 years to under 65 years in clinical risk groups from October 2024. 

We are running dedicated FLU clinics from the first week of October 2024. All eligible patients have been invited via email/text message with links to self-book appointments. If you have not already done so then please book your appointments now. All patients having difficulty booking appointments using this link can call the surgery and one of the staff members will be happy to book you in. We will continue to recall and vaccinate patients who were unable to attend the dedicated clinics conducted during the 1st week of October to have their immunisation at another time. Please note, to protect yourself against influenza it is advisable to have your FLU jab before peak winter arrives.

From 1 September 2024 all patients in the following category will be offered FLU immunisation:

  • pregnant women
  • all children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2024
  • primary school aged children (from Reception to Year 6)
  • secondary school aged children (from Year 7 to Year 11)
  • all children in clinical risk groups aged from 6 months to less than 18 years
  • We are sending invites to all children aged 2 or 3 and pregnant ladies. For the other cohorts mentioned above then your child’s school will be arranging clinics to have your child vaccinated. You will be contacted by them directly.
